The Shicheng Lantern Festival, that is, the Shicheng Hakka Lantern Festival, has been popular among the people since the Southern Tang Dynasty, and it has been more than a thousand years ago. The Shicheng Lantern Festival expresses the people's prayers for peace and prosperity in the country, good weather, abundant crops, and the elimination of disasters and evil. Every year from the 1st to the 15th of the first lunar month of the Chinese New Year, the Lantern Festival, the Dragon Boat Festival in May, and the Christmas festive days of various temples and bodhisattvas hold parade, parade and street activities.
